Manuscript Critique: $300
We will provide a thorough written review of your manuscript. For both fiction and non-fiction, we will note inconsistencies or contradictions, as well as consider overall flow and readability. We will comment on what works and what doesn't, what's needed, and what needs to be removed.
For works of fiction, we will additionally consider questions such as: does my opening grab my reader? does my story contain enough tension in the right places? are my characters well fleshed out, distinguishable, and sympathetic (or not, if that's what you're going for)? is my plot credible and engaging? and more.
For non-fiction manuscripts, we will look at things like research quality, coherence, logic, structure, accessibility, citations, and appropriateness for indended audience.
