Editorial Services
Red Pen for Rent offers multiple levels of editorial services for writers of both fiction and non-fiction, from developmental editing to proofreading. Please keep in mind that these services are very closely related and often bleed into one another. The terminology used is in some ways arbitrary, as there is no definitive line between copy editing and proofreading, for example, or between ghostwriting and substantive editing. For this reason, we require an Initial Review for all proofreading, editing, and ghostwriting projects to determine appropriate pricing.
